Saturday the 20th of May will mark exactly one year since Alex and Val tied the knot.
In April 2022, Kristen and Nige set out to find a couple who’s wedding plans had been uprooted because of Covid-19.
When everyone heard Alex and Val’s story it resonated with the folks in Canberra, making them our winning couple.
Kristen and Nige dubbed it The Wedding That Canberra Built.
And that’s exactly what happened. They left it up to the public to decide on everything—from the dress, the cars, the cake, and even the song that played when Val walked down the aisle.
