A Canberra born pilot is the brainchild of a ‘flying boat’ that’s been making headlines across Australia.
34-year-old James Greenberger, who now lives in Perth but grew up in Tuggeranong, individually designed and built the unique vessel.
“A lot of people just can’t work out what it is.”
Dubbed ‘The Mudskipper’ it’s been turning heads as it takes to the water (and the air) in Perth, even receiving it’s very own feature on the nightly news.
However, it’s not the first James has made the news for his creations – previously going ‘viral’ with his homemade hovercraft while living in the top end.
A #Canberra man has gone viral after this footage of him flying a homemade hovercraft at a beach in Darwin was shared on Facebook. Catch his take on it all tomorrow morning in the news on @mixcanberra & @hit1047Canberra pic.twitter.com/FCXwb9mukJ
