A Canberra dad is $60 million richer after claiming the only division one win in Thursday night’s Powerball draw.
“Are you serious!?” he exclaimed when an official from The Lott confirmed his prize.
“I can’t believe it.”
“I’m going to have a heart attack.”
The man said he’s planning to pay off some bills and take a long-overdue holiday with his family.
“I play the same numbers all the time – they were inspired by my family.”
In addition to winning division one, his marked PowerHit entry also scored division two 19 times, bolstering his total prize to $60,701,558.85.
