When Michael Webb quit his job four years ago to do magic full time, his Dad thought he was nuts.
A couple of months ago, he was on his way to the United States to perform for a few shows, only to be detained by customs and sent back home on the next available flight. (YIKES!)
Fast forward to now, and “Magic Mike” has left the entire country in awe and wonder, leaving the Australia’s Got Talent judges both shocked and touched.
Not only was his trick amazing, but the message behind it was much more important.
Michael shared the story of “Jack”, a 28-year-old who struggled with mental health issues and decided to speak up and get professional help.

The story, however, was about Michael.
An incredibly moving story told through an incredibly magical trick.
Michael joined the CBR Wrapped team to talk about his performance, sitting at home and watching it with his extended family (who didn’t know about the trick he was performing), but also spoke about his “run-in” with US Customs earlier this year!
But more importantly, he spoke about how vital it is to never feel alone in the battle against mental illness.
