It’s home to the The Fresh Food Markets, Dirty Janes vintage store, Capital Brewing Co. and Canberra’s only outlet shopping centre but Fyshwick has also just been named the ‘worst’ place in the ACT.
The industrial region took top honours, claiming 26.2% of the overall votes in a recent online survey conducted by satirical Facebook page Sht Towns of Australia.
“Fyshwick is a world-famous sh*t pit.” The page proclaimed.
‘Sht Towns’ has been on the hunt for the worst places in each of Australia’s states and territories with the winners then going on to compete in the national finals.
