20-year-old Matthew McLuckie has been identified as the young man tragically killed during a head-on collision along Hindmarsh Drive last week.
The former St Mary Mackillop College student was driving home from work on Thursday night when he was struck by a driver, who’s accused of speeding down the wrong side of the road.
The female driver in the other vehicle involved remains in a serious condition in hospital.
However, Police are still searching for a third driver who may have had some involvement, in the lead up to the tragic event.
Detective Acting Superintendent Paul Hutcheson said Police already have plenty of details about the third car involved but they’re yet to confirm the identify of the driver.
“Someone in the community knows that, I think they need to have a look around at the tragic consequences of that driver and the other drivers actions and come forward.”
“Or for the driver themselves – it’s time to come forward and let us know what happened and help us put this together so that we can give as much information as we can to the Family.”
