It seems in Canberra it might be ‘First’ because that’s where our city has ranked in a list of cities best at solving the daily word challenge.
Online site WordTips has crunched the numbers and found Canberrans ranked number one when playing the game with an average of just 3.58 guesses each time.
Just behind the Nation’s Capital is Israel’s Jerusalem with an average guess of 3.66.
Australia overall missed out on claiming top spot as a nation, that went to Sweden with a score of 3.72, but a number of other Aussie cities did feature in the top 10.
Our friends in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide were all fierce competition but it seems there could only be one ‘champ’ – there’s another 5 letter word for you to try.
